First trip to DL coming up in June and want to book the WOC dining package. I am leaning toward lunch (I would probably order the fish) but the lamb at dinner does sound pretty awesome. Is it worth $20 more? Any other reason to prefer dinner? I will be trying to book this for 6/11 - the only night without a grad night during our 3 night visit. Many thanks!

I haven't done the WOC package, but I loved the food at Carthay Circle and I do think dinner was worth the price. In the end, it's up to your priorities and timing, but you'll enjoy whatever you choose.

The menu can change before June, so be aware of that. They tend to change seasonally. We did the WOC lunch at Cathay Circle and I wasn't sure the kids would like the choices as they are older than the kids menu, but they were fine. The two older ones had the ravioli's and the younger one, who was actually 10, but got her the kids meal had more food than she could finish. I had tempura shrimp that were amazing. I would go for lunch as you get a fabulous meal for a good price, that night while we waiting in line for the show (1 hour before) to be the first in to the carthay circle section we had corn dogs. Light dinner after a heavy lunch. Great viewing area as well. Stand up by the fence area by the lighted globes, near stairs.

We like lunch just for the chance to have a nice break in the middle of the day. We also always ask for the second show because it is less crowded and less waiting ahead of time.We can go do other things during the first showing and close down the park by going to the second.

Lunch - it's cheaper. We usually make reservations for one of the last time slots available for lunch and make it an early dinner.

We did a late lunch (2:30ish) WOC package at Carthay in December and it was wonderful! We decided to save the extra money that dinner would have cost us as the menus were pretty similar between lunch and dinner. And since we ate lunch so late in the afternoon we were able to get through the rest of the day w/ just a snack.

No matter which you choose to go with I'd definitely recommend adding an order of the biscuits (which are not on the WOC menu) to your meal for everyone to share. So good!
