Carthay Circle Without Reservations?

Hi all, I'm just wondering fi anyone's tried just walking in to Carthay Circle for dinner without reservations. I tried making reservations for June 29th, but nothing was open. I was wondering if it was possible to get in via standby, if anyone's done it, and if so, how long the wait was. Thanks!

I don't know if it's possible, but with how nice the lobby is, I wouldn't mind and hour wait or so, if I were there with friends.

I think it's going to vary everyday. Supposedly they're booked for the next three weeks or so we were told at check in on Grand re-opening day. If you can't get a reservation, maybe at least try hanging out in the lounge and splitting some small plates there? It's not the same, but personally I wouldn't spend previous park time waiting an hour to pay more money.

I'm so glad you were able to enjoy lunch there. We had reservations for opening day and the CM's were telling us that they were completely booked for the first three weeks. I heard them turning lots of people away. However, I believe the lounge as you come in, is available as a walk in. The downstairs lounge seems to have it's own kitchen, it's own menu and a full bar. So, if you can't get in to the restaurant, try the lounge and see what you think.

we were there Saturday for a late lunch. I heard the table-assigner tell someone to come back an hour later and see about a walk-in. My advice would be that you could get in if you don't try to go during "prime" hours--so if you want dinner check with them around 4 p.m.

FWIW, got in around 6:15pm as a walk up. Though the cast members are very friendly, those at the door told us there were no walk ins. But when we went in to look around, those at the desk were saying there were walk-ins! It was awesome! So check back and check inside!

My friends went last week and walked up and got a seat no problem! I think they had to wait 15 mins but got a seat! I also heard that the place was booked up the first few weeks and its probably true! BUT I also think what happens with a lot of this stuff is people simply cancel or a lot of no shows and so they probably get a lot of last minute seating as well. And this restaurant is pretty big, being able to seat 250 people so if its just 1-2 people, they probably can accomodate people at the last minute. If its 5 or more, then it may not be so easy.

Anyway the question been answered, yes you can go to the restaurant without reservations, but the chances of getting in will probably depend on the day and long people are willing to wait!

We were there on Thurs 6/21 around 11:45am, and did not have a reservation. We waited less than 5 minutes to get a table for lunch and there were many empty tables.

We were told that if you don't have a dinner reservation, it's best to come at either the very beginning of the dinner service (4:30 I think?) or at the end. They said that between 5:30-7:30pm the chance of getting a table without a reservation is not likely

Our lunch was amazing and we got the WoC reserved section so that was even better!

I was told they are in a "soft opening" phase right now, so they are not taking as many reservations as they have capacity for. It also looks like they are not serving their full menu yet. So, I say you have a good chance, but have a back up plan just in case!
