Carthay Circle Restaurant has a new menu for the summer season. Here is both the lunch menu and dinner menu. Gone from the dinner menu is the horrible Strongnaff dish that I had in May which was awful. Also note the Chicken Wings in the dinner starters. The new summer menus look good!!

It looks good. I actually just cancelled a dinner reservation a couple days ago and now I might add it back. Something that always confuses me is how many people eat half a chicken in one sitting? I don't understand why the restaurants have such giant portions. I also don't see any vegetarian dinner entrees. Now, I think I'm talking myself out of making another reservation.

I wish they would bring back the red curry & shrimp dish they used to have several years ago (pre-pandemic). It was so good.

I didn’t even know I liked red any kind of curry. But I was feeling adventurous. DH was getting a dish I knew I would like, and he said if I didn’t like mine he’d share his with me — basically trade with me.
Well, I loved it!! And when dh saw and smelled it, he became a little jealous. In the end he loved his dish. I think it was a steak? Or maybe salmon? I can’t remember… I just know we both ended up enjoying what we had each ordered. Although we did end up sharing a little bit with each other (that’s true love there… because I was tempted to quite literally lick my plate. )
