Just made my reservation for lunch when we go in September. I did my reservations through e-mail this time, which worked great!
Just thought I would share the exact information they provided about the WOC seating (or standing)

Each Guest who purchases an appetizer and an entrée or an entrée and a dessert for either lunch or dinner will receive a ticket to access the center stage viewing area for World of Color.

Children ages 3-9 purchasing a child’s meal with a purchase of an appetizer or dessert will also receive a ticket to access the center stage viewing area for World of Color.

So it is refered to as center stage viewing not VIP or color. Just thought I would share.

Thanks. Did they say anything about which WoC showing you'd get FP for if there was more than one WoC showing that night?

[Edit: Never mind, I found it on the Disneyland website itself!]

Just as a note, when I dined there I was given a choice of which show I preferred.

When we went for lunch we requested second show tickets and got them, no questions asked.

When we went to the viewing area, the sign there called it "Reserved Viewing". I believe the tickets called it Preferred, but I forgot to take a picture and I can't remember for sure. It seems they are always calling it something different.

Do the CC WOC tickets have to be used that night, or can you use them on a future date?

Did you need to arrive early for the WOC viewing with the CC ticket or could you arrive pretty close to show time and still get good viewing options? Was the viewing area crowded?

Any comments on the quality of the viewing area and what you see/what you miss of the show?

Thanks in advance... I'll be doing the CC dining for WOC in October on a Monday night so I'm very interested.

We arrived 15 mins before the 2nd show start time and had an unobstructed view. While the current viewing area is in the center of the overall viewing area, it is not on the show center line. You'll need to go look at Hydro Guy's WOC thread for the diagrams.

They must be used the date and time specified on the ticket. We hadn't stated we wanted to do WoC dining but when we got there it wasn't a problem at all to let them know. We ordered 1 appetizer to share, 2 entrees and 1 dessert to share. It was delish!!! After our meal we asked for the FPs, we were asked which show we wanted and we wanted the first one so that's what we got. We got to the show area about 20-30 min before the start time and we had no problems finding a good place to stand.

We ate there in early August for lunch and did order an appetizer. But we were not offered these. Yet another example of the lousy service we had that day (especially since this is supposed to be "fine dining" with exceptional service).

We are having a late lunch (2pm) at CCR on Monday and will be asking for tickets to the second WOC show.

We've done Ariel's WOC dinner in past years. Is the line up/holding area for CCR tickets in the Terrace Wine Bar area as it was for Ariel's?

Our original server knew we wanted the WoC passes but the guy who took over for her when she went on break did not, we had to ask him for them. BUT each person has to order an appetizer or dessert and an entree, for example, we ordered the biscuits (which I was not happy with) as an appetizer, DD16 got the burger, I got the bacon wrapped shrimp, we shared a dessert. If you had multiple people and only ordered 1 appetizer you did not qualify for the WoC passes.

I don't think so, I didn't do WoC dining at AG but for CCT we just walked right into the designated area, we didn't line up anywhere at all.

Thanks, Kerri. I always like to have some sort of idea of where I'm going and what I'm in for.

No problem, when we got our passes the server told us to look for a certain marker and to show our passes to the CM at the entrance, we did this about 20 min prior to the show time and she directed us to another CM down to the right a little ways, we showed the second CM our passes and she welcomed us to the area and told us to pick a place to wait and that when the show started we could fill in as we liked. It was super easy to do.

... I believe the tickets called it Preferred ...
On August 13 (Monday), CCR's WOC FP called it "Reserved Viewing." (See the photo below.)

We had lunch at 11:30am, and we were allowed to choose the 9:00 or 10:15pm show.

Here's a photo of the FP:

We arrived 55 minutes before the 9:00pm show, and we stood in the area that's marked "CCT-lunch ?" in the map below:

Are the reservations for CC 60 days out like all the other restaurants?

I know our dates but don't know yet which days will be EE (we have AP's and will be staying onsite). I know we can park hop but don't want to run back and forth several times during the same day. I am not sure which day I should make reservations for? Is WOC running every night in November?
