Just made my reservation for lunch when we go in September. I did my reservations through e-mail this time, which worked great!
Just thought I would share the exact information they provided about the WOC seating (or standing)
So it is refered to as center stage viewing not VIP or color. Just thought I would share.

Each Guest who purchases an appetizer and an entrée or an entrée and a dessert for either lunch or dinner will receive a ticket to access the center stage viewing area for World of Color.
Children ages 3-9 purchasing a childs meal with a purchase of an appetizer or dessert will also receive a ticket to access the center stage viewing area for World of Color.
