Tuesday:
We woke up in paradise! Or otherwise called
Castaway Cay.

The water is so beautiful and clear it is unbelievable!

We decided to go to the buffet for breakfast and Carter found something better than Mickey waffles, Crispy Cream donuts!! Yes in the middle of the ocean!

We got ready and headed on to the island, while waiting for our tour we ran into the good captain, Jack Sparrow. He was so hot!!!

Mom really enjoyed getting a picture with him! We had a glass bottom boat tour booked. I was a little disappointed with this. The glass part of the boat was far away from where you stood so it was kind of hard to see. We did get to find some bright colored fish and also fed them oatmeal. The best part was getting to see some more of the island and also get some good pictures of the Dream! I also got to learn a lot of the workings of the island. There are actually 105
DCL employees that live full time on the island. Of course I was also told that they like to party a lot!! Well of course what else would you do on a secluded island??? I think I may be applying for a job soon!

The other people that work on the island boat over from a neighboring island 8 miles away, what a way to get to work.
We then checked out our snorkeling equipment, the boys were so cute! The sad thing was the water was so cold.

There is a kid play area called the plunge, the boys werent really interested since it was in water a little deep and so many kids! We didnt have any problems finding chairs. Disney has 2 places to eat lunch on the island, they have bbq type food. The nice thing is they also provide free pop on the pool deck as well as on the island. I am not much of a pop drinker but their ice tea was great in the heat. They also had the ice cream machines on the island. I am in love with their banana ice cream!

We received an invitation to a Make a Wish party with special visitor for the afternoon so we headed back early to get cleaned up a bit. The party was held in the Outlook, which is at the very top of the ship usually used for weddings. When we got there we met 5 other MAW families. It was cool to be able to witness all the kids being kids! They had cookies, juice and of course Captain Mickey came!! He was AWESOME!!

He danced with all the kids, posed for pictures, and just spent so much time with them. I must say that person has a heart of gold and is excellent at their job! We also finally got to meet Megan, the MAW coordinator.

Tonight was pirate night!! So to top of a magical day was a magical night. I had made shirts for us to wear to dinner and DCL gives everyone bandanas to wear. The waiters, workers, and characters were all dressed up in pirate gear. Right after dinner they held the first pirate show. After that we went to the magic show. It was very good and the boys enjoyed it. At last it was time for the FIREWORKS!!!

We were very blessed to meet a very special couple through our FE on the Disboards. They were on their 43
Disney cruise. They know everyone on board!! They were invited to watch the fireworks with the cruise director in the VIP section. They knew that a firework cruise was Carters true wish
so they made sure he was invited as well.

Words cant describe how special they are to us. Don and Gail will have a place in our hearts forever.

So we all headed to the top of the Mickey slide. Our view was unbelievable, nothing in our way and we were up so high. It was wonderful!!! They had a pirate dance party on deck afterwards and the boys enjoyed dancing and listening to some of the music. What a day!!

I know I am a little winded, but I am actually reliving the trip through writing this! I plan on printing these out so that in years down the way I have all this saved!
