Just wanted to say that I've been following along on Carter's PTR and have loved hearing about hearing all about it so far.
Glad that you have dates now.

Carter's wish granter emailed me and our cabin is 7068! Oceanview with a balcony!! I looked it up and it looks like a great location. Austyn and I both get motion sick so having the balcony helps a lot! I love reading and watching the ship pull into the ports! I have never been real good at keeping secrets and I am having a hard time not telling my little man!!

We have been having a lot of issues with Carter's behaviors. He has ADHD and has been on meds for about 3 yrs. He has been having horrible anger problems and is hitting, kicking, and throwing things. We took him to his ped yesterday and since his HA have been getting a lot worse as well, he has been having them twice a week at least. They get so bad he feels like he will vomit and has to be in a dark room. She wants to do an MRI just to be safe. He is scheduled for Monday at 7am. Since they know he won't be able to hold still we have to be there at 530 for sedation. Not looking forward to that at all, but want to make sure nothing is causing the 2. His ped is really conservative, actually too much we have butted heads a lot! So I know she wouldn't do it unless she felt it was totally necessary. We are also going to try giving a bump of meds in the afternoon to carry him through the evening.

Good news, at teacher conferences they told us they are having a meeting to get Carter labeled as gifted. Usually they don't do that this young, but his diff teacher has been with him for 2 yrs and wants it done now. That will carry him through middle school and just assures that he will be placed in the right classes!

Definitely better to do the MRI and be safe, but sorry Carter has to be sedated. The gifted labeling could be a big help going through school, especially if he has some behaviour difficulties.

And I'm quite jealous of the balcony on the cruise - Of course, I'd never leave it (ocean, books and unlimited food? Heaven) so maybe it's for the best

So I really should be in bed since we have to be at the hospital at 5:30am for Carter's MRI. Instead I'm gonna post some pictures!

Carter had a really hard time this morning, he was really scared. I had to leave him with him screaming mommy so loud I could hear him down the hall. It was horrible!!! After 2 needle pokes and them pulling out his loose front tooth he made it back to the room in one piece and in a much better mood. We were home by 11 and he ate a whole pile of food and slept from 12-6:30! The doctors office called and the MRI came back normal! So we will try the new meds and watch the HA. Thanks for all the good thoughts! Time for bed it was an early morn!!

Sorry to hear he had such a rough time. Excellent news though about the normal MRI! Anesthesia has the opposite effect on Trev! He doesn't sleep and is wired! Glad he got some much needed rest. Hopefully he sleeps well for you tonight

I went looking on our cruise, before they gave us the official dates, and noticed all the inside facing rooms were taken, so i hope that the room that our MAW gets for us will be equally nice to yours. If not, we will still be happy though.

Thanks! The good thing about the Disney ships are there are not a lot of inside rooms. I love balconies and once you have one you will never go back!! I spend a lot of time out there reading, eating, and just plain relaxing. There is nothing better than having the salt air blowing and seeing nothing but water everywhere you look! Fingers crossed for a balcony for you!

Lastnight we got to enjoy the family Make a Wish party at the Cornhusker football stadium. They had athletes from all of the college teams and they played different games with the kids. They also had a photo booth with all kinds of fun props. The boys had tons of fun. I will post some pics later.
We are at day 33 until we leave!!! I got our pirate night shirts finished this week and I am very happy with how they turned out. We have our checkin done and our sea lion excursion for Nassau booked.
