Carsland Lights - Time?

We will be heading to DL the second week of August. Does anyone know (roughly) when the lights will turn on in Carsland? We have some reservations around 8pm and will try to move them back if needed. Thank you so much!

From what I've read, it's usually a few minutes after the official sunset time, so in mid August, around 745. I was just there, but had a World of Color Virtual Queue pass, so we got in line for that instead, since sunset was after 8. We then walked down Route 66 after to see the beautiful neon in the dark.

Maybe someday I'll get to stick around Route 66 for the actual lighting.

It varies. You can ask a CM the day of and they will tell you the time.

Two minutes after official sunset for that day. Sunset time changes daily and the lighting ceremony adjust accordingly.
