CARS Premier at DTD?

So, I'll be visiting the DLR on June 9th and was thinking about maybe catching CARS at the AMC in DTD. Is there going to be a big hoopla or should I anticipate huge crowds?

That would be really cool to catch CARS at the DLR!

I dont know if this would work with your schedule, but the Cars movie is also playing at the Disney-run El Capitan in Hollywood and that is where we are going to see it. It would be a much more "Disney" experience even though you would not be at the DLR! I will provide more details if you like, but thought I would mention it.

Sounds like a great idea, but no it won't really work with our schedule. I am just staying around the DLR and won't have a car to get into Hollywood.

However, if all the hoopla is going on up at the El Capitan, then maybe it won't be such a big deal down at the AMC.

according to my AP Backstage Pass it is premiering at the El Capitan. I don't think you will have a problem. We saw Fantastic 4 opening night at Downtown Disney and it wasn't busy at all.

Snow Brite I would love more info as we will be in CA for the first time the week that Cars premires what is it like is it really busy and we will have a car.
