Currently we're booked at AoA for one night prior to our DVC stay. I added a night to the trip just to stay at AoA. I've got a Nemo suite right now but after looking at the Cars section, I'm very tempted to change. :hyper:

Our trip is in 12 days and I have no business even contemplating changing anything at this point even though I did change some ADRs this morning ......

Thoughts? Our party loves both movies so that's not an issue. I asked them and they all said they don't care. :upsidedow

Is the theme better in the Cars section? Does it really matter as we can check out the whole resort? I like the colors of the Nemo room but the decor and the exterior of the Cars section look so cute. And the cone lights in the Cars rooms? Love them.

I know it's just one night but any thoughts?

We were debating the same two for a stay with our four year old son. He loves both movies. We picked Nemo and I have to say the room was AMAZING and it was nice to be so close to Animation Hall (especially on the night it was really raining and we had to run back to our building). We did love the cars section and spent some time in the Cozy Cone pool. I felt that both exteriors were perfect. But from what we saw online, the Nemo rooms were way better. Many more characters and details incorporated into the decor. The Cars room had some framed pictures and a cool bathroom, but he rest was just cones. Boring! My vote (not that I get one) is to stick with your Nemo room.

I can't speak to the rooms themselves, but having stayed at LM and just walked around the entire resort, we will stay in the cars section if we do suites at AofA again. The theming was awesome. It was very close to the AofA hall.

Heck yeah, you get a vote! I haven't been and need all the help I can get. From the pics the Cars rooms look a little boring and I'm not a huge fan of the dirt colors. Thank you. :goodvibes Glad Nemo is a close walk to Animation Hall. How was the gift shop?

Yeah, the outside theme looks amazing, like in the movie. :thumbsup2

personally I would avoid Nemo like the plague. That pool can get very loud - not just with kids playing but with the music/ announcements.

Cars was much quieter.

Both themes are great

For background info we just got back from an 11 night stay in LM so had plenty of time to explore and hang out at the pool.

I can see how the pool might get loud, although our room faced the lake and was very quiet. The gift shop was good - I got my mom a mug with the nemo seagulls all over it. So there were a few things that weren't available everywhere else.

It's that loud near the poll? :crazy2: Hmm.......

I'm excited for the gift shop. I love resort specific merchandise. Maybe I'll request a lake view to avoid the pool noise.

I've got about a week to decide. Because its a room only reservation, I've got to cancel within the next 6 days if I'm going to. :hyper:

I prefer the colors of the Nemo Suite and I liked the colors and carpet of the interior halls too...however I like the overall theming of the cars section better and we were very happy there when we stayed in August.

:thumbsup2 That's exactly where I'm at. Guess I'm not sleeping outside so I should stick with Nemo.
