Cars Characters at MGM

Sorry if this has been asked recently, but I could not get the search function to work. I noticed on Steve Soares' website that the characters from Cars are not listed for this week as making appearances. Has anyone seen them there lately?

They lead the parade every afternoon.

I saw them on Saturday on the Streets of America. I'm trying to remember what time it was. My sister and I waited, then as they came down the street, it was total chaos.

Unlike other character meet n greets, the CMs (there were 3 or 4) did not even try to start a line, and there were a ton of people literally on the cars when my sister and I tried to take pictures. It was total chaos.

Later that day, we were walking by the GMR and saw them by the hat like the "normal" characters, also with the "normal" lines. We were a bit annoyed, since we didn't see that one in the times guide. We would have liked to have gotten a "real" picture, like the ones I've seen from some folks here on the DIS.

The Cars are really at MGM for photos??? DS will be so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes the cars are in the 5.30pm parade at MGM but I also saw them there earlier in the day just going through the streets.

We saw them last Wednesday (8/9). They were just leaving from taking pictures so I was able to get a couple shots with no one around. Not to mention there were so few people in the park in general! Good luck finding them - I'm sure you will!

Oh boy, we were enjoying the idea of not even going to MGM during our next trip, but we've got to see those cars!!

Yes, Lightning and Mater are on the Streets of America. They come down fron the Lights Motors Action area, drive down the street, turn onto the San Francisco Street and do a meet-and-greet. And I have to agree with dmk1021 it was total chaos! There were no formal lines, and it was not organized at all. I was glad I got photos of them coming down the street because there was no way I was going to brave the crowd to get any more pictures.
