has anyone tried the babyzen yoyo stroller?
taken it on board an airplane?

we'll be traveling with two young toddlers this summer (our grandkids)...
we'll have a long time in the airport before the first flight and again during the layover between flights..
i was thinking of buying two lightweight umbrella strollers, which would have to be gate checked i assume...
but as i browsed amazon, i noticed the babyzen yoyo, which it says can be taken on board..

has anyone tried it?
are you happy with it as a stroller?
is it easy to travel with?
we'd use it while traveling but also while we're at disney world...

I saw that stroller at the park last trip it was fascinating! The Dad actually took it apart and brought it on the ride with him (POTC). Honestly though that's a lot of money to be able to fold up and carry a stroller and even then there is no guarantee the FA will allow it on the airplane. (If that's the only reason you need/want this!) I have seen the FA's stop letting luggage on and gate checking them instead when the overhead gets close to full (flew to and from Chicago last week and it happened both ways) so I wouldn't try and carry on a stroller.

I would use a stroller they already have and the kids are familiar with or purchase a stroller you like at a fraction of that price! Look for lightweight and easy to fold and carry and a carry strap is a great feature for the buses/trams - then just gate check them. Honestly its a breeze - get a gate check tag from the FA then leave the stroller at the aircraft door when you board. Be sure its folded and locked in the fold position and remove anything that could get caught or damaged. The stroller will be brought right back out to the door of the aircraft for you when you land.

what you say makes a lot of sense!!

i think i'm going to get two of those cheap lightweight umbrella strollers with decent sunshades (it is for orlando after all)...
and if they destroy one or both on the airplane we won't be out a lot of money ... :)
