I think you can do it. I probably wouldn't attempt it but I think you could do it. Make sure that your carry on luggage has really good wheels and that you can place a bag on top of it strapped to it. If you can both do this and little one can walk you can do it if you pack light.

Did bring those little Tide packets for room washing and did plan laundry time one afternoon while the kids swam. I packed 4 days worth (short outfits) & 2 pr. jeans with shirts. No dressy clothes, casual only. 1 extra pair of shoes, plenty under clothes, night clothes, 1 bathing suit/cover up and a hoodie/jacket.

I agree with this. If you plan to do only carry-ons for a weeklong trip, you'll definitely need to budget some time to wash clothes. Also, as an earlier post said, everyone should wear their largest shoes on the plane and pack the lighter/smaller shoes.
