Carry-ons on Jet Blue out of Buffalo

Hi, I know that this has been posted around on a few thread, please my sister doesn't believe me and needs assurance. Can someone please attest to the fact that the carry-on ban is only for flights originating from Canada, and that since we are driving to Buffalo, we are flying domestically within the US and should be able to bring a carry-on no problem, right? Thanks, we leave in 6 days and she is freaking out.

We flew back a week ago- Orlando to Buffalo (Southwest not Jet Blue though) and NOTHING was different.....we could bring our carry ons and access the entire flight/use washrooms etc the whole time. We flew down on Jet Blue but that was before Christmas- Jet Blue was GREAT-loved the little tvs/lots of space.

Just flew SW came home yesterday, was able to still take on carry ons. No problems at all
