Can you use one of the large Disney shopping bags as a carry on, domestic with southwest?

I always see shopping bags as carryon. The issue is making sure things don't fall out of it. And you'd want to make sure it's approx the right size or is squishable. Or get two bags just in case so one goes at your feet and the other goes above. Assuming you have nothing else or the other items like a purse can go in that second shopping bag.

Yes, they are smaller then carry on size. You are allow one carry on and one personal bag

We have a couple of those Disney World duffle bags you see for sale in most stores at WDW. They pack flat in the bottom of a suitcase and are easy to carry onto the plane if you have bought too many Disney goodies to fit into your suitcase. They seem like they would be sturdy enough to check if you don't have breakables/valuables packed in it. They often have them on sale or they might come with a discount for your next purchase. DW just puts her purse into it so her backpack becomes her personal item that goes under the seat and the duffle goes in the bin. Just did that for our trip last week.
