Carry on luggage

Am I allowed to bring two carry ons onboard? One is a regular rolling carry on (airline approved size) and other is small duffle bag that rides on top of rolling one. With swim clothes, bottled water and ginger ale added to regular things, one bag isn't enough.

You may bring as many carry on bags as you feel you can handle. Remember you will be wrangling them until your room is ready (typically 1:30).

We just took our first cruise and had two rolling carry on bags for four of us. What a beating!! Next time, I will be arriving at the port when the room is ready and I can dump them off immediately! The ship is busy and getting up and down the elevators with luggage is difficult on that first day. Save yourself the hassle and arrive around 1:00. I read that advice on this board multiple times and didn't follow it. I will next time.
