Carry On Bags

Hello everyone, I am sure this ? has been asked many times before but here it goes: What do you normally pack in your carry on bags. Our plane lands at 820 am and I realize the chances of us getting into our room that early are very slim, we are using Magical Express so we wont see our luggage for a while. I just want to be sure we are prepared.

Depends on who you are traveling with. I am usually an adult on my own so if I can't get everything into a bag that's carryon legal, I will have in my carryon:
- iPod
- Camera
- Wallet, travelers cheques, cash, credit cards, passport, house key
- Trip confirmation numbers
- Pair of sandals
- toothbrush and toothpaste (in the baggie)
- Cell
- Cigarettes (and lighter in the baggie)
- Current book

I also layer so when I get there I can just strip off in the heat. Zip off cargo pants are great for that. Or cinch side capris work too.

Thanks, I should of menitioned I will be traveling with DH and DS 7.

I will be traveling with DH and DS 12 and 9. I plan to pack bathing suits and a change of clothes (including pjs) in case there is a problem with luggage getting lost.i'm also going to have what I'll need to go to the parks that day. Someone else suggested packing 1 outfit for each person in in the checked bags in case just 1 bag gets lost.

I think we're going to actually try to pack all of our things into carry-ons. Six days at DW, but we'll have a washer and dryer in the villa. Three pairs of shorts, six tops, one bathing suit and flip flops. That way, we don't have to worry about ME or the airlines losing our stuff. My son practiced last night and he was able to get all of his stuff in a backpack.

Good tip for boys--mine wear board shorts every day, which also double as bathing suits. If you they get wet on one of the water rides, their shorts dry quickly!!

Other than the items we need to keep ourselves occupied on the flight, I take:

Bathing suits
sunscreen (small travel size or they will take it at security)
Flip Flops
An extra T Shirt
All travel info (confirmations #s for park and ADRs)
Batteries (for my Pal Mickey and other electronics, they say you shouldnt pack them in your checked baggage)

My husband & I are able to pack 8 days worth of clothing in a carry on. we each have a small carryon suitcase and bring a back pack for the plane to keep by our feet.

I usually wear sneakers down, & pack flip flops. I have the empty containers(airline approved) for liquids from Linens n things... great for sunscreen, lotion, shampoo, etc...

When I pack I choose clothes that are all in the same color group so that if I mix & match its easy... white, & aqua. Maybe some pink..

That way I don't have to bring too many pairs of shoes I do pack all the things like poncho's, etc...

Anything of great value to you or that could get damaged in our checked luggage; camera, cell phone, money, cc, gift cards, small electronic entertaiment item, etc

1 quart ziploc with travel sized shampoo/cond, sunscreen, deoderant, toothpaste

toothbrushes

1 full change of clothes & 1 set of PJ's

I plan to sync lots of information to my handheld so I don't have to worry about keeping up with lots of papers.
