Carry on bags @ resort - when using Magical Express

I'm sorry if this has been asked before... I understand that the ME will take us to the hotel and we can check in and then go to the parks. Our luggage will be magically delivered to our room while we're gone. However, what do we do with our carry-on luggage? Can we leave it with the front desk or do we have to hope our room is ready and take it there? Thanks!

You can store your luggage at your resort. A Cast Member will tag the luggage and give you a receipt. You can call later and have it delivered to your room.
You might get lucky and get a room right away. It all depends on the resort occupancy when you check in.

Not with the front desk, but bell services is happy to hold your luggage for you. When you return to your room, call them and they'll bring it to you. It's customary to tip $1 per bag for this service.

It is a good idea to have things you will need for the first 8-10 hours in those bags. Bathing suit/coverup, ear plugs, a pair of shorts(if you wear pants on the plane), an umbrella or poncho, and a pair of pajamas. Also any meds and sunblock/body basics. You can leave some of that with bell services, and take some of it with you to the parks in a shoulder bag or small backpack. but you need to be prepared incase there is a delay with your luggage

Of course, if you're getting to your resort via DME, there's a good chance your room will be ready, even before the standard 3 PM check-in time.
