(I think in the Passporter Guide) I read that it is sometimes quicker to carry your luggage off ship, instead of setting it out for the porters the night before and then searching for it after you get off. Any one have experience with this? Thanks!

While it may be faster to carry your stuff, the cruise director said it correctly...you'd prolly need a vacation again AFTER you lugged all of it to your vehicle!

Disney is neat because not only do they color code your luggage, but they put it in stateroom order. It took us a moment to find our stuff. You should prolly just let your stateroom host take it from you on your last evening.

Depends on how long a cruise you are on and how much luggage you have with you.
We have only gone on 3/4 day cruises and tend to travel light, so we carry ours off. but if you are on a longer one you might not want to do that. What ever you carry off with you, you have to take to breakfast so you might want to keep that in mind too

I would put it out the night before...DCL does a great job of organizing the luggage. We found ours in about 3 minutes...

Finding your luggage is so easy after a disney cruise...the system is very impressive. I wouldn't bother lugging it around the ship.

Like auntie said...you have your luggage and are out the door to parking lot with in a matter of a few minutes...very nice.
