I did they online check in for this Sat. I didn't know what building I wanted since I'm not familiar with the resort, so I just listed I wanted to be near transportation and thought I would add another option later. I have tried to edit my options since somehow it listed second floor as one of my selections, which I don't want. The options are now grayed out and it isn't allowing me to select/change anything. Is it because I have a standard room?

Every village has its own bus stop so you will not be far from one ho matter where your room is.

As @MinnieMSue stated, your selections can't be changed online once you make them. You'll have to call.

Have you checked out the very informative CBR FAQ Thread? http://www.disboards.com/threads/di...on-questions-thread-now-open-updated.3461094/

If not, I highly suggest checking out the 1st two pages as just about any questions you may have will be answered there.

The problem with requesting to be near transportation is that you could get a room at the back of the resort i.e. Arub 56. It's close to a bus stop but a decent distance to the FC and main area. Definitely check out the thread that dansdad posted and you could also check out the allears site and look at CBR map and other information.

What would you recommend for options, since I don't know the resort at all. We have a standard room and it's just my husband and I on our first solo trip, it's for 4 days.

Jamaica 45 and Aruba 51 are our 2 favorite locations with Jamaica 45 being our #1. Both are a short 4-5 minute stroll across the bridge to OPR and the Main Feature Pool. And it's a beautiful walk especially in the morning when the sun is coming up over OPR. We just happen to like Jamaica 45 a little more because we think the bright yellow exteriors of the Jamaica buildings just screams Caribbean.

we just returned and stayed in a preferred at Trinidad North building 32. I would say go for Jamaica, as others have said its a short walk to the main pool and Port Royale but also has the nicest beach area IMO. Also, Jamaica was always the first stop on the bus route when returning.
