Carrentalsavers and question

Found a National rate I can live with through their website. Once I make the reservation can I go to National's website and add my emerald membership number? I'd like to be able to bypass the counter. This rate is cheaper than reserving online with National directly. Adding the membership number won't increase the rate will it?

In my experience, carrentalsavers is a "pass through" reservation system, meaning the confirmation number you get is direct from the rental car agency. I obtained a budget rental through carrentalsavers last year. The confirmation number was a direct confirmation number from budget that I was able to use to access through the budget website and add my fastbreak number to skip the counter. I would expect it to be the same with other carriers available through carrentalsavers.
