The refurb time isn't long enough for this, but personally, I'd love to see them restore the final scene to the mid-60's version. I read the script for it online yesterday, and it's pretty interesting. As mentioned above, there's not much point in trying to showcase the latest in technology, given the lag time between concept and implementation on such an attraction. But that 60's scene would be just as interesting to me historically as the 00's, 20's, and 40's scenes. Yes, that's different than what Walt intended, but it would be more interesting to me than to show things you can go to Innoventions to see.
Given the relatively short length of the rehab, though, I'd settle for making sure the rotation machinery is well oiled and possibly upgrading the seats. Some of them are smelling pretty nasty.
