Has anyone been on Carousel Of Progress lately, and what kind of hours can I expect in January?

Open 7 days a week with park hours.

It is no longer a "seasonal" attraction.

(It MIGHT close a bit early after dark... just a "maybe.")

We just saw it in October at least twice. We saw it the first time to check off the list we saw it the 2nd day to rest we all took a little catnap.

This is a personal favorite of mine. My kids and DH laugh at me about it. But I still manage to drag them on it. This year the laugh was on me when I insisted I wanted to see it and then I fell asleep a little bit. Really it is a great show. You have to try it!

This is one of my son's favorites. He likes to do Tomorrowland in this order: Space, COP and People Mover. My daughter, however, would rather stick her finger down her throat than sit through COP!!

My DD7 just loved this attraction. We saw it 5 or 6 times.
It was annoying to me after the third time but i love hearing her hum the song :)

I love the COP it is one of my favorits I laugh during the show every time and one of the best ways to learn about history

I wish someone would have encased my feet in cement before I walked inside this attraction. I'm still taking a hammer to my head trying to rid that dang song out my memory banks. The horror....the horror....

I love that song and some how it is in my head even thogh i have not been on it recently

I love this too. Sometimes it looks closed because there is hardly ever a line. The year my husband and I went I really thought it was closed just the way the entry is set up so we weren't even going to try and then I noticed some people walking around on the other side and going in. So we got to go on  .

Check the time sheet when you enter the park, as I believe it does close early - maybe around 6:00 p.m.

Which song?

The one that goes "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow..."?

That one?

You're welcome.

heres a way to get that song out of your head. start singing. these are the times, these are the best times, these are the best times of our lives.;)

i have the song as my ringtone on my phone....haha Imagine the looks I get at work when it goes off. :goodvibes

"Shining at the end of everyday...."

I put this song on my son's MP3 player because he loved it so much (he's only 3) and he knows the whole song, he just sings it over and over again. He doesn't remember going on the ride because he was only 18 months old the last time we were at WDW, but when I take him back in February I can't wait to see his face when he realizes HEY...THATS MY SONG!!!

were did u find that song I love that song just like your DS it is always in my head

My 11 year old DD loves the COP. I'm amazed she likes it so much, but she also understands that this is one show that Walt Disney himself designed. We are going in August and she says she can't wait to see it again. LOL.

I bought the CD at WDW of the MK theme park songs. It included this song, Tiki Room, and a couple other well known ones. I bought it with the original purpose of making a DVD slideshow with all our pictures on it and using these songs as the background music. Well I did that, but DS got hooked on the COP song and it has forever been in his MP3 Player :D
