Yeh, I am so excited........We leave in 12 days and I saw on the "All Ears Net" this morning under the rehab schedule that Alien Encounter was going to be down in November but while it is down Carousel of Progress and Timekeeper would be open. We never get to see these because we go during off-season so if this is the case then I am very excited! We were just there in September and we saw Alien Encounter and although we like that I would rather it be down and CoP be open. :bounce:

Sounds great, we have not seen COP on our last three visits because it was not open. We just love this show, they should have it open all the time....

YAHOO! I haven't seen either of those in years because we go in the off season. When I was a little kid I saw COP at the NY worlds fair and it is a nostalgia favorite of mine.

I am really hoping that they CoP and Timekeeper remain open during December too. I really would like to see these. Mickey

I'd love to hear more about this attraction! I think I saw it in the early 70's because it sound familiar.

What is it like and why do you like it?

... put 'em together and you've got woo-hoo, which is my reaction to this news! I've never seen Timekeeper (which shocks people who know me and know how often I've been over the years), and while I'm sure I've done COP in the past, I can't remember it for the life of me. Geez, maybe I never did it??? Anyway, can't wait... 26 days and I can see what all the excitement is for myself!

Well, its kinda hard to describe CoP but it is one of those great "old time" disney attractions. Its like a small revolving theater with a animatronic (sp?) man describing new inventions from the turn of the century till current day. Kindof a timeline thing that updates household utilites and such. I'm probably not explaining it real well but if you go on the disney website you can check it out. I have only been able to see timekeeper once but it is like a 360 degree movie screen that takes you through time too. Since I only saw it once you better check that out on-line too. It is fairly new but since they only run it during busy seasons I never get to see it. Warning....when you come out of CoP you will be singing that little tune for the rest of the day! ;) It's a great big beautiful tomorrow.......

that is so exciting to hear!!! I love COP so much, but I am never there when it is open. I am so glad that it will be open when I am there. Thanks for posting this!

Does anyone know what hours CoP and Timekeeper are open? When it was first announced I thought I remember seeing 10-6, but now cannot fine the info anywhere! Help!

I'm with Sherry8253--I also saw it at the Worlds Fair in NY and it is a real nostalgia favorite of mine as well!!
Unfortunately, I'm not going to be at WDW in November so I won't get to see it. This is the kind of attraction that Disney seems to be closing out in favor of "wild" simulator/roller coaster rides. Too bad. Makes me wonder if COP will be around long enough for me to see again---.

You made my morning... I love this attraction and have not seen it in years... Smart move by Disney to reopen it for the holiday season.. woohoo!!!!!:bounce:
