Carousel of Progress Open For Summer!

This just in from Intercots Disney News:

"Vernerable fan favorite and Tomorrowland classic attraction Carousel of Progress is officially open for summer business. Guests can ride this classic ride in the Magic Kingdom between June 22 and August 14. Be sure to ride often! The more guests that go through the turnstiles of this wonderful attraction, an attraction that is filled with the spirit and ideals of Walt himself, the more Disney will become convinced that Carousel of Progress should remain open year round! Let Disney know how much we love this ride!"

Good news for sure Too bad we are not going until November (hopefully)

Our last day of our trip was Sunday June 22nd. My daughter and I are big Disneyholics. We were so excited when we looked over and saw people going into the Carousel of Progress. We had never seen this but had heard all about it. We of course ran right over and really enjoyed it. A must for all Disneyholics!

We rode the ole COP this morning. We enjoyed this sentimental favorite, but it doesn't appear to be recievie much in the way of upkeep. Hope corporate Disney doesn't forget it's roots. This is a classic, a nostalgic symbol of what made this place what it is.
