Carousel of Progress and Closing Hours?

I'll be in the Magic Kingdom on March 1st, 2006. What are the chances that Carousel of Progress will be open? ... I hope that since POTC will be closed that they'll throw us folks a bone!

Also, when the park closes on a regular day (not EMH), when do they stop admitting people onto the attractions? What if you're already in line?

Don't know about Carousel. I'll also be there on Mar. 1, and would like to see it for the first time, so I hope it's open. As far as park closing times, MK is especially good about letting you get in the line right up to the park closing time. I've never been at AK at closing. EPCOT is about what you'd expect. They start shutting things down about 5 or 10 minutes early. MGM, although we love the park in general, seems to be about the worst as far as shutting down early. Once you hit about thirty minutes before close, it's hard to find anything to do besides the very biggest rides. I know everyone shops at the end of the day, but we always save our shopping for the end of the day, because the shops at all the parks generally stay open 30 minutes to an hour after park closing.
