Carolyn Allen~~ Prices??

I was thinking of using carolyn allen to steam my dress and 2 bridesmaid dresses at the hotel. Can anyone give me an idea of prices??

Large wedding gowns with lots of fabric and/or pickups are $85. Smaller gowns like bridesmaid dresses are $65 each.

If your dress is silk she will have to press it instead of steaming. It is a little more, but I don't remember the exact price.

I am using Carolyn Allen for my dress steaming. Here is the info they sent me when I requested pricing info. I hope it helps



Bridal gown steaming or pressing $65-$85. This price includes a veil and a small wrap. Gowns with detachable trains are considered 1 piece.
Larger items, such as capes and crinolines/slips, are considered additional items.
Silk, Taffeta or any bridal gown that may need to be pressed are $85 plus tax. This price includes a veil and a small wrap. Price is determined at steaming or if a picture is submitted for a quote.
Additional dresses and extra items $20 each
Additional suits and/or tuxedos $20 each
If you decide to ship your garments to our store before your wedding, there is an additional storage fee of $15 for the first garment and $8 per additional garment, due on our receipt of your items.
This fee includes delivery if we are steaming your garments at your hotel. You must set up your steaming appointment before you ship your garments to make sure we are able to deliver and/or steam your garments.
We recommend shipping your garments no more than 2 weeks before your wedding. Be sure to use a delivery service that allows you to track and insure your garments. The outside of the box should list the wedding party name and wedding date. Also, please enclose a detailed list of all items you are including so we can inventory them when they arrive. This list should also have a contact name, address, and telephone number in case the label on the outside of the box is damaged and unreadable. Payment for storage must also be enclosed, and may be made by credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover) or money order. We do not accept checks, and we do not recommend sending cash.
All steamings are subject to an additional 6.5% sales tax. Pricing may vary if appointment is scheduled outside normal business hours or on a holiday.

Thanks for posting this information. I am looking into Carolyn Allen's for steaming and Tux rental for our VR in November. This has been MEGA helpful!
