Carolina dentistry

I hear all the time that there is a low cost dentistry in the Carolina's.Does anyone know it?The location,website or phone#?

I'm in need of this badly,so any help would be very grateful.

Since you are in Florida, check out this http://www.dental.ufl.edu/patients/ . Years ago I was a patient at Georgetown University (DC) School of Dentistry and had extremely high quality work done at very reasonable prices.

I have heard of people going up there and getting there teeth pulled out on Saturday and have dentures and go home on Sunday.

Ugh - if this is happening, you can be sure it's not something we are proud of or want to advertise!

OP, get in touch with a local dentist and see what they recommend. There are bound to be low-cost clinics, etc. in Florida too.

I've heard of the denture people but not in a long time. I grew up in a poor rural area and I remember some neighbors going off and having all their teeth pulled and dentures made. I don't know of any full-service dentistry that's low cost other than the UNC-Chapel Hill Dental School.

OP, you may be thinking of the place in Florence which is in South Carolina but very close to the NC line. That place has been famous for *years*. It's true, you get all teeth pulled at once and fitted with dentures the same day at a very low price. I heard about this through patients in a hospital where I once worked. Sounds awful but I've never heard anything negative about the place. In fact, people seem to be very pleased with their new teeth from this clinic.
