A nice smooth flight home, as we land I get out mine and Callums extra Hoodies and big chunky cardis ready for the shock to the system, Callum turns to me and says ‘Mum, I feel a bit…Bleeeuuuurrrgggh’
Thanks Callum, I know have a nice big chunky knit cardi full of sick! Think I’ll declare it at customs!
Any way needless to say we were desperate top get off the plane quickly as we stink, just what you need for a 5 hour journey home. We have no idea wherabouts anything is packed in the cases as it was all just stuffed in to accommodate various snowglobes and souvenirs!
We wash off as best we can in the Loos, Call’s feeling fine now (Bless him, Not!) and we mooch through to baggage collection, this seems to take forever as about 5 cases came off and went round the carousel for half an hour before any others decided to join them.
We eventually track down all cases and luckily my recurring nightmare of picking my dirty pants up off the carousel didn’t come to fruition. So off we go to meet Harry The Bore, Taxi Driver, Yes, eagle eyed readers it was Brian The Bore on the way up but it has now changed, just to reaffirm all chauffer companies MUST employ boring men-of-a-certain-age!
Back home at 1:30 to a pile of washing and a huge load of crap to find house room for!
Never mind, It was worth it
Summary::
Was a bit worried that we’d be a bit bored having already spent 3 weeks in Disney World, but It gets better each year, it seems so much easier when you really know your way round the parks.
Disappointed not to get to any openings but will have to vet further holiday partners to see if they’re ‘morning people’
How amazingly clean the place is, theres nothing to match it. If you ever read the U.S. Community boards there seems to be so much disappointment in the World and its staff but we never came across ANYONE who was less than completely courteous and helpful. Transportation was above and beyond the call of duty and Mousekeeping was amazing.
Staying on-site, no way never will I ever stay off again, If I got the best off site hotel free I wouldn’t even consider it. We never felt like we left it at all until we got back to MCO.
If DVC is such a best kept ‘secret’ why is it that its advertised on EVERY bus, in EVERY restaurant, in EVERY lobby, on EVERY corner in Every park???? – methinks trading standards should have a word, LOL!
Why do I go to Disney? Because for me it’s the Ultimate Holiday destination, Theres so much happiness it does convince me every time that I can believe theres good in everyone, I can believe I can fly, I can believe one day my prince will come and I’ll live happily ever after.
