Anyone watch this show? I don't even know if it is still on but we have Netflix and I love watching whole series this way. I saw the box at Blockbuster when I was looking for ideas (I am going to a beach house for a few days and can only take 3 disks from Netflix with me so am checking out others from Blockbuster). It looks interesting.

Unfortunately it only lasted 2 seasons. The cancellation was evident in the wrap-up of the series, so season 1 was loads better than season 2. It was an amazing show with tons of promise. I wish it hadn't gotten the axe and was able to get the resolution and recognition it deserved. We own the DVDs. One of the greatest shows ever put on television.:thumbsup2

Well since it won't cost me any more than what I pay I might give it a look see on Netflix. Thanks.

DH and I love this show. When we got Netflix a few months ago we spent weeks waiting for the discs and watching both seasons. We're very disappointed that they did not continue for a third season.

We started watching it several years ago. A co-worker recorded the first season. I went into labor with our middle DD right at the beginning of the last episode. DH said, "Can't we just wait until after the episode before we head to the hospital?" :rotfl:

Another thumbs up here. Seems that they did sort of rush the ending once they found out the series was cancelled but it is very intriguing to watch. Way better than most movies you could rent and it will be better to watch multiple episodes in succession. Enjoy!

The only problem with Netflix is that there are only two episodes per disc, so there are a total of 12 discs for both seasons. We would watch both episodes the night we got the disc in the mail and send it out early the next morning, so we could get the next disc asap.

DH & I enjoyed Carnivale when it was originally broadcast because of it's quirky setting and concept.

Come to think of it (back when we had HBO & Showtime) we enjoyed several non-mainstream series that were cancelled within a few seasons. A couple other favorites, now available on Netflix, were Dead Like Me and Rome. Six Feet Under had a long run. Just be aware they all deal with adult language and themes, but you may find them worth checking out.

LOVED that show!! unfortunatly it got canceled after 2 seasons. but it's always been one of my all-time favorite shows, and to this day i'm STILL angry that it got canceled. it had such a great storyline.

I loved it too! Agreed that season 1 was better than season 2, but they could have done so much more with it.

I don't remember if it was HBO or not, but one of those channels also had Angels in America. That one was good, too.
