Has anyone stayed at Caribe Royale villas? I am considering a 2bdr there and would like to know others opinions on the resort.
Thanks!

I have stayed in the two bedroom villas twice. The villas are large, clean, well maintained and decorated very nicely. They come with daily housekeeping which is a huge bonus over a condo or time share rental in my opinion. They have full kitchens, washer and dryer in the unit, the master bedroom bath is lovely with both a large shower and large Jacuzzi tub. There is a king size bed in the master, 2 queens in the other bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. There are also 2 bathrooms. The main pool area here is wonderful with a nice slide, kiddie pool area, Jacuzzi, waterfalls, pool bar, and you can order lunch at the pool. It's a lovely environment. We're FL residents and have actually stayed here over nice weekends where we have not gone to the parks and hung out at the pools and our kids have never complained about not going to the parks on those occasions.

The only two small negatives are that the villas are located in a separate building behind the main parking lot. It's a little bit of a walk to the hotel gym, restaurants, and main pool area. Yet, there is another quite pool at the villas building and it has separate parking lot from the rest of the resort which is often much easier to find a spot in especially when returning later in the evening. Also, the last time I stayed here was over a year ago and the kitchen counter top was tile. Now a days most are granite. It was nice tile. Not in any way a deal breaker for us but thought I would mention in case it matters to you.

Thank you for the very nice review! I did notice in the pictures the counter tops were outdated.. but that's not a real concern for me.. as long as its clean, quiet, and a comfy bed!
I do like that I can book directly with them, (and there is a mousesavers code!), and the fact the 2nd bdr has queen beds. The pools and restaurants do look nice..
I originally wanted to book Wyndham Bonnet Creek, but was not able to secure my dates...so I think this will hopefully be nice also.
