We checked into the Caribe Royale on March 14th about 1pm.
A beautiful place located right off of State Highway 536 that has direct
access to Epcot.
Check in was quick and easy. We reserved the room in January with the Mouseavers rate for a one bedroom suite for 2 adults and 3 kids.
Total for 5 nights was $711 with $25 nightly food and beverage credit which we did use. We also received a free movie with a big bowl of movie size candies, soda's, popcorn and water.
However when we went to check in we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom 2 bath villa.
It was room 7505 in Villa building 7. Gorgeous and brand new/refurbished.
The villa had a king bedroom with Jacuzzi with glass shower 2 vanity areas, sitting chair and access to the screened in patio.
Closet contained a safe with plenty of room for 2 laptops, cameras, Nintendo DS and important documents. Room also had flat screen TV with plenty of cable channels.
Living space had full size pull out couch with sitting chair, coffee table and 2 end tables and an entertainment center with flat screen TV, DVD player and CD/Radio player. Sliding door led out to screen in patio.
The kitchen was a full size apartment sized kitchen with 4 cup coffee pot, and coffee, sugar, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with papertowels, kitchen utensils and service for 4 and pots and pans. Fridge was full size with freshly made ice. Kitchen counter/bar had seating for 4 people.
Dining area had large dining table with 4 chairs under a beautiful chandelier.
Living area also had a closet with iron and ironing board and hangers for our coats.
The washer and dryer was located off the foyer. Plenty of shelving space to store items as well. The stackable washer and dryer was tiny apartment sized and not a place to do a large sized load and took 3 tries to even dry clothes.
The 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds with closet and flat screen TV in the entertainment center. In the room was full size bathroom with sink and vanity seperate from toilet and shower/tub combo.
Beds and pillows were very comfortable and cozy.
We were on the back of the property and it was quiet and near a swimming pool off of Villa building 6. Kids loved it.
We also used Cafe Largo for meals on arrival night with our credit. Good and not pricey.
They also provide Shuttles to all the parks for free via Mears. We did not use this as it seemed to always be full. They only shared service with their sister property Buena Vista Suites next door.
There is a 7 Eleven across the street but with no proper lighting, crosswalks or sidewalks I do not recommend walking there. Walmart is close by as well.
We loved this property. Despite a few conventioneers (convention hotel) the property is well planned where that does not bother you.
I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
