I'm so excited we decided just today to go to Disney World for our 11th Trip since 2004 :cloud9: We decided on staying at the Caribe Royale Orlando Resort since MouseSavers.com was having such a great discount. Has anyone been to this resort lately? Is it as nice as the website leads us to believe? Can't wait till June 25!!!! :cheer2:

We've never been, but I hope you have a wonderful time, and post a review of it for us when you get home!:)

I'll just pop this downstairs, for some more info:)

Have fun!!

Hi There - When unable to book Disney for family and friends, the the Caribe is one of my choices. Both 1 & 2 bedrooms have a living area with television :happytv: and pull out sofa, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and the master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub that will fit two. All the kids really enjoy the pool, and its so hard to get them out. There is a game room, and a quiet pool where not too many kids frequent, as the main pool is larger, and has a slide. The Caribe is within I'd say 10 to 15 minutes to Disney Parks and about 5 minutes to Downtown Disney and about the same to Universal (depending on traffic). The hotel is close to many fast food and sit down restaurants which is also a plus. The hotel offers room service, and the restaurant's food is good. I think food in the "grab a bite" locations are a little over-priced considering what you're getting, but I guess that is all a part of vacationing. The hotel got a renovation/face lift last year, which improved on the positives, all buildings were to be completed by the end of 2006. I think you will enjoy this hotel.

Have a safe, fun vacation.

Hey Chipanddale, I am going in August! I don't know about June, but if you check their website direct, you may be able to get a better rate than what mousesavers was offering. I did, and my room is just $89/night for a 1 bed suite because I paid in advance. It is so close to Disney (about 5 min) that you will not miss being off-site. It also got a great review on hotels.com. I can't wait
