Here's the latest:
A hotel in Orange County, Fla., was evacuated and SWAT teams stormed the structure after at least two people made a phony report that three people had been shot in one of the rooms, according to a Local 6 News report.
Police said a call was made to a switchboard operator Tuesday night at the Caribe Royale Hotel on World Center Drive located just off Interstate 4 reporting that three people had been shot.
The caller told an operator that a gun was to their head and two people had been shot in a room.
Another person then got on the phone and made a threat, saying if police came near the hotel room, they would shoot more people.
The hotel was evacuated and police surrounded the building.
"Orange County deputies had an extreme show of force out here," Local 6's Jessica D'Onofrio said. "SWAT teams were on the scene and they made entry into that room and found it empty. This was all a big hoax."
"We are very happy we are not dealing with a hostage situation or three deceased individuals," Orange County spokesman Jim Solomons said. "But, you consider the amount of manpower the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Orange County Fire-Rescue, Metro Ambulance and everybody that was out here to help resolved the situation. Again, we take these very seriously. We have to operate under worst-case scenario. Yeah, I would say there is a tremendous amount of frustration."
Police are trying to trace the cell phone call early Wednesday.

When the news came on TV with the "BREAKING NEWS" siren, etc., it really caught my attention because I thought that they had finally found the local little missing toddler that everyone has been searching desparately for the last two weeks (Trenton Duckett - his story was on Nancy Grace and his mom shot herself (suicide) the day after the broadcast - he is still missing

) and my heart sank - but it was for this Caribe Royale story, and my heart sank for it also, thinking 3 people had been shot and killed...
