Thinking of staying here in March 1st through the 7th of 09. Anyone have a recent experience? :) Thanks

We stayed there circa 2006 - after it was rehabbed from the 2004 hurricanes. We thought it was very nice -- they have both a fancier restaurant and a more casual one, I think, along with a counter-service/quick food type place. We didn't use the pool, so I can't speak to that - I think we were there in the winter.

From what I saw on that one trip, I would recommend it. Often, mousesavers.com has a discount code there - check the mousesavers site.

I was just there last weekend. Got it through Hotwire for $89. a night. It was a very nice hotel. When you go into the room its a living room area that also has a fridge and microwave. Then there is the bath area with a nice sink area and with toilet and tub across from that. Then through that is the bedroom area with a large armoire, desk and 2 beds. They were very comfy!
The pool area was great and very warm and relaxing. Didn't eat at any of the restaurants though. From the resort to OKW (where we moved to) was 5 minutes away, straight shot.
Very nice place and I would definitely stay there again. Not full price, but at a discount.

Stayed there one night in March (we got evacuated at 3 in the morning, but that wasn't their fault). It's a very beautiful place, especially the lobby/restaurant area, grounds and pool areas. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy but nice. Would have liked to try the restaurants but we got there too late.

pixiedust: We stayed there last June 2007...we loved it!!!Very nice place....and clean......The pool area with the slide was enjoyed very much by my grandaughter.....i would defineatly stay there again...pixiedust: :tinker:

Hi! We stayed there two weeks ago in one of the villas. Two bedrooms and a pullout couch in the LR. Kitchen with full size fridge, dining table, screened in porch overlooking the pool. One bedroom has two queen beds and the other bedroom ha a king bed. There re several buildings and two pools in the complex. Te villas pool likes the simplest one with just a hot tub. The other pool has a slide. . There's also a washer and dryer. It was very comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.

We stayed there in March of 2008. The hotel was very nice, pool beauitiful and the food in restaurant was good. I would it recommend it. We are actually staying there again this September.
