Has anyone stayed there? We'll be staying there in March. Looks lovely from their pictures! Can't wait.

Any reviews/comments would be welcomed. We're traveling with 2 preschoolers and my parents. We have one of the 3-bedroom units.

A few specific questions:

Did you use the pool? Is it warm? I know the weather in March is unpredictable, but we're hardy Canadians and willing to swim in cool weather as long as the pool is well-heated.

What is the "neighbourhood" like? Any issues with noise, either within the resort or from outside?

My mom will need to be in touch with work while down there. Has anyone used the high speed internet? Was it reliable?

I know the resort is too new to be on the GPS. Is there a landmark (store etc) nearby that I could track down the address program in as "home" to get us someplace close to the resort? DS4 is super-excited about being able to find our way around using the GPS.

Thanks so much!

Caribe Cove is on West side Blvd off 192 and opposite Avalon Road if it helps .there are no landmarks as such as the area is new but soon there will be a ba third fifth bank on the corner of westside and 192.It is easy to find head west on 192 until you see a sign for Winter Gardens on your right and turn left very soon after wards -this is Westside and Caribe is just on the right hand side. The road is quiet -there is some building going on further down but it shouldn't affect you

:goodvibes Hey,
another hardy canadian here, my family of 5 just returned from a 17 day stay at caribe cove. We were there over xmas. The place is Very new, and suited us perfectly. We had loads of space to spread out, but our biggest complaint is that the walls within the condo are paper thin, and there are vents from one room to another that also carries all the noise (so there are no secrets). We never heard any noise from the outside unless we a were sitting on our balcony which we just loved! We had a parking lot/pool view as opposed to a wooded view- definately our preference. We were in building one and it was a very short walk to the clubhouse (bldg 2 would be too, but anything else would be more of a hike). The pool was surprisingly cold when we were there, but it was warm out (75-80s) so my kids went in anyways, but did not stay in for very long. They also have a hottub, but when we were there it served as more of a baby pool, and was actually yellow:scared: I would not let my kids go in it until the crowds had cleared out and the hottub smelled like chlorine again. The staff was great, all very helpful and willing to do whatever they could. My husband actually worked the first 3 days of the vacation, and we had a small difficulty getting the internet setup but they sent over a techie ASAP, and were so helpful they had us up and running in no time- any issue we had (and there were not many) they took care of right away, and with a smile. My only surprise was that there was only one dvd player for a 3 bdrm condo but this was not a huge deal to us. The kithcen was decently stocked, pretty much covers you for what you may need unless you ate into real gourmet dishes. There is a walmart very close by as well as 2 publixs. As far as location goes, we found it to be a little far west, but don't forget that this was during the xmas break and traffic was absolutely insane! we often has a jam of 45 minutes at least on the 192. We found it very helpful to use a shortcut when going to Disney, it shaved time off for us, but we still could not avoid all the traffic- I guess that is what you get at that time of year.
Hope this answers your questions, if I forgot anything or you have more ???? please don't hesitate to ask!
I am sure you will have an amazing time!:cheer2:

Thank you! It's nice to hear from someone who has actually been there!

I hope they warm the pool up before we arrive. My mom doesn't like cold water, and she was hoping to spend a fair bit of time by the pool. She's not planning on doing many attractions - just coming along for a break from the cold weather here. The paper thin walls will be a bit of a pain with three generations staying in the same unit, but for what we're paying, no one can complain!
