Caribbean Beach

We have never stayed here before but we have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside last year with 3 of us in the room with no issues. (2 adults, 1 child) This year my mother (who just lost her husband, so this will be her first trip without my stepdad) has decided to go with us and we are staying at the Caribbean Beach (got an awesome AAA rate and I booked and paid for the room before my mom asked if she could tag along.) Are we going to feel crowded or uncomfortable?? She plans on sleeping in the same bed as my 11 year old daughter which has been done on numerous occasions just not here at Disney. Should I look into staying somewhere else or do you think that we will be ok. I hate giving up the rate that we got but I really think Mom needs this trip.

We stayed there last year (me, DH, and our kids 7 & 9). I was very happy with the size of the room. I really think you'll be fine.

You will all have a wonderful time at CBR. The first time I went to CBR was after the death of my husband. My kids and extended family loved CBR.

You should be glad to know that CBR rooms are actually 340 sq ft as the other moderates are only 314 sq ft. Hope this helps you!!!

And this allows for a double sink making it easier for more than one person to brush their teeth, etc...

you should be fine, size wise in that room.

just so you know the main pool at CBR is down for a chunk of 2008. They added some slides and activities to the other pools.

So you might want to request a room near those pools, if swimming is a big deal to your family (it is for ours). We would have gone to CBR for our 08 trip, but the pool being closed was a deal breaker.
