My family has been to Disney many times and always stayed at the Poly. This time we're on a tighter budget and have been looking at the CBR. I don't have a map, but from the pics I've seen it looks like Epcot is RIGHT there. I'm wondering if we'd be able to walk to Epcot from CBR? My family is fit, and no small children.

If walking is an option, is any building closer than others? Any recommendations for a building? :earsboy:

I'm travelling with teens, do you think the CBR is a good choice for them? If not, please recommend!

Thanks so much!

You cannot walk to Epcot from CBR. You'll need either the buses or your own car to get there. As for teens, my DS14 and DS11 loved CBR -- anyone over 12 can drive the Sea Raycer boats on the lake, the walking isn't that bad depending on your location, and they loved lying on the hammocks on the beaches. Lots of pools, though none real big, and the food court is great for teens. Lots of stuff they'll like. You'll love CBR.

Welcome to the DIS. You might want to check out the FAQ threads listed below. You will get lots of great info on CBR. Teens will love CBR.

My family of 4 stayed at CBR 4 years ago, it was nice but there is a lot of walking (depending on you bldg.) to the food court area. For example, if your in your room and it's raining- no one wants to walk to and from the food court. I also thought the bus stops were very crowded, and can remember having to stand. Last July staying at AKL everything was close, and the bus was never crowded. This Aug. we will be trying BWI.
