Caribbean Beach - undergoing refurbishment?

As you can see I’m new to this, so I apologize if I am doing it incorrectly.

I see Caribbean Beach's is scheduled for refurbishment this year and it appears to be a big project, we are planning a trip this fall. Does anyone think this resort should be avoided due to this refurbishment?

This resort is so spread out that I don't anticipate construction being bothersome for the vast majority of guests here. The major construction is supposed to be in the Barbados area so if you aren't staying in a building next to that area I wouldn't think it should matter all that much. This is away from OPR where the food court, pool, arcade, etc. are located.

Not really a refurbishment, the rooms were refurbed about a year or so ago. So other than the Pirates rooms, all will be new inside. They are doing some minor construction by Pirates to add some kind of food option, but my friend just stayed there and said it didn't bother them at all.

The permits right now are with the FL Water Management, it is infrastructure work happening before what is predicted to be a big construction project. I think this first part is scheduled for two years.

I wouldn't let the work going on now sway me from booking at this time. I would just keep my ear open to see what starts to happen and where but agree it looks like you want to be away from the land by Barbados.
