We stayed there for the first time in December and loved it. We had a pirate room and I wouldn't do that again - it was just too far from the main pool and food court for me - but we enjoyed the resort atmosphere and the pool area so much that I've suspended my quest to stay in every resort to return to CBR for our March trip.
The rooms are a nice size, larger than the other mods, and the resort was peaceful and quiet while we were there even though our first night (tail end of Pop Warner) and last night (start of Christmas break) were at 100% occupancy.
The bus service was excellent and there was a CM at our stop monitoring the frequency and balance of buses in the mornings. We had one day where three AK buses came during the 15min we waited for our Epcot bus, and he was on his little radio reporting the problem while making notes on the chart he was keeping. It was good to see that level of attention to detail/guest experience.
I love the tropical feel, particularly since we leave behind Michigan winters to go to Disney, and the kids had a great time playing on the beach. And the zero entry pool and water play area are spectacular, particularly when traveling with young children. That's what really swayed me into going back in March; our youngest is two, and I don't want to give up the zero entry pool to try a different mod.
The food court has a good selection (which is something I miss when we stay deluxe). Most of what we had there was snacks and fruit, but the couple meals we shared were solid counter service food, nothing special but fresh and hot (or cold, in the case of my salads

).
I actually liked the Nemo room my mom had better than the pirate room we were in; it felt more airy and tropical, and while the pirate room details are very cool it isn't something I'd pay extra for again.
We are really, really looking forward to going back. Of the resorts we've tried CBR is a solid second on my favorites list, behind only the Beach Club (which is spectacular, but frequently out of our price range!).
