Caribbean Beach Resort

Just an update about the Caribbean Beach Resort. I just returned and had the worst stay of my life. They were redoing the landscaping on the building I was put in, Disney never told me this when we checked in. They were running stump grinders and heavy equipment all day. There was no way to take an afternoon nap. And the room needed several updates. To flush the toilet you had to hold down the lever for over two seconds. the paint was peeling in the bathroom and the remote control for the tv only worked sometimes. The Airconditionor did not cool very well either. I have written Disney and am waiting on a response.

OH NO! We are going in just a few weeks - which building were you in? So I can request not to be put in that building. Thanks for the heads up.

What building did you stay in? We were in Jamaica in August and had a wonderful experience.

We just stayed in Building 53 which is in Aruba. It should be done in that building by then. You might want to ask if they are doing any other buildings when you check in.

I'm so glad you posted this. We requested Aruba and I just emailed our travel agent cancelling that request.
