Oops! Okay..Repost of my question since I wrote the wrong resort (Beach Club!) in my first post! :rolleyes1

Here goes:
Hi, everyone! We're heading to WDW and I know the main pool will be closed. This doesn't bother me since we only have 3 days in the park and my ds will have the Castaway Cay beach (for 2 days!) plus the Wonder's pools.

I'm just wondering....Will BC have less people due to the pool closure? That's my hope, that it won't be as busy!

I also would love to hear opinions on CBR and best building to stay in.

Thanks!!

Expect the resort to be sold out, regardless of the main pool rehab. I can't advise on CBR, other than to suggest you stay elsewhere.....I've never liked that resort despite trying a few times. Any of the other moderates would be my choice.

What didn't you like about CBR? I know I still have time to switch. Having never been to DisneyWorld, we are complete novices, so any thoughts/tips are so appreciated!

I've looked at the pics and reviews, including TripAdvisor. Since we married in Jamaica and were back there for an anniversary a couple years ago, we love the Jamaica buildings.

Yes...figured it'd probably still be very busy, but thought I'd get thoughts on it. ;) Thanks for responding!

We stayed at CBR twice(2002 and 2003) and loved it both times.

In 2002, we had a room in Jamaica that faced the pool. Really nice too. Mousekeeping was great, the walk to OPR was short and bus service was good too. Room service was good too. Fun themeing.

In 2003, we had another room in Jamaica and it was a garden view. I highly recommend it. Room service was good, mousekeeping and busses were good too.

:thumbsup2 Have fun!

We've also been to CBR twice and really loved it both times. We stayed in Jamaica and Aruba which are both across the lagoon from the main building and pool but a nice walk over a bridge and a little island. I think everyone has their own likes and dislikes. My sister hated CSR but it lookes like lots of people love it. I'm not sure I would pick my resort on what others have to say. I really don't think you would be disappointed.

We liked CBR. We stayed in Aruba, which is about the same distance from OPR as Jamaica. We had a ground floor room right next to the pool. It was great. You can check out my pictures from 2006 on the link below.
