Hannah 03 and soontobewed07, I do not know about you guys, but I feel like I am going crazy trying to pack and get everyting done. Only 7 more days:scared1: and I do not feel ready to leave :(

We are thinking about requesting the Jamaica or Aruba section. Is it creepy to be at the big pool at night and then walk across that island in the dark to get back to the room?

Thanks!

We stayed in the Jamaica building.. Walking back from the pool at night is not scary...If memory serves me right there are lights.. Some might think that Jamaica is far from the pool area, but it really isn't that bad of a walk..

Not at all! I have walked across there with the kids at night and never felt one bit scared! Just the opposite. It is well lit and so beautiful seeing all the village's lights reflecting off the lake. :cloud9:

Can you ride a boat to anywhere from CBR? Any parks or DTD? That is one thing we enjoyed at WL and POFQ. I doesnt matter we are still planning a week of life as a pirate-just curious.

I need the directions from Miami to Caribbean Beach Resort! I need it so badly! I went to google Map and it said I don't understand the address! Please Help me!

I prefer Mapquest myself...
I can just enter 'Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort' in LBV and it finds the address for me.

I don't know why this isn't showing us as a link but if I cut & paste it, it takes me right to it.

I was planning to eat at Shutter's on our trip in August. I have read some pretty bad reviews on it and am now questioning that plan. Anyone who has stayed recently tried it? Pictures would also be appreciated.

We are here now, and ate there on Saturday. My mom and husband liked their NY Strip, but I did not like my very dry roasted chicken, and none of us ate our odd mixed vegetables. It was unremarkable, but not absolutely awful.

Hi all:

We will be staying at CBR in July...have booked a preferred room....are requesting Martinique and are requesting to be as far away from a designated smoking area as possible...due to DH asthma. Which floor would we be better off on......first or second?

We are still debating where to stay in September and CBR is one of the resorts at the top of our list. I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. We always have our 11yo niece and 8yo nephew (who live locally) spend one night w/us at our resort (and go to the parks with us) when we visit. For that night, it would put us at 5 in our room. Would it be okay if we used an air mattress or sleeping bag for that one night? And if so, what about using the main pool? Would the kids be able to have lunch and swim with us?

If it's not okay, we'll cross CBR off the list. But if Disney lets people use air mattresses, then maybe it's an option for us.

TIA! :)

I'm not 100% sure but I think CBR does not allow 5 per room even with an air mattress.

We always stay on first floor and never have a problem with smoke. If you choose 2nd floor, remember there are no elevators.

Currently:upsidedow  , is there any construction?

Some rooms still being refurb but you shouldn't run into any construction.
