Caribbean Beach or Wilderness Lodge???

For just me and my hubby for a short stay (3 or 4 nights) in late April. We usually stay Polynesian but don't want to spend that much this time and want to try something new. Which would you pick...Wilderness Lodge or Caribbean Beach and why?

FYI...I have stayed at Caribbean before and enjoyed it, have never stayed at Wilderness but have seen it in person, etc.

If cost isn't an option, I'd stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It's a gorgeous resort and has the convenience of boat access to the Magic Kingdom. I've never stayed there myself, but it's toward the top of my list of places I'd love to stay. The lobby is so magestic!

Just be aware that the main pool will be closed at CBR when you are there.

Wilderness Lodge for the same reasons as previous poster and.... the HDDR is just a short boat ride away and you can still see the Electrical Water Pageant that you're familiar w/ at the Poly. Also, the WL is just plain COZY. It would be extremely difficult for me to stay anywhere else. I love the WL THAT much!

Wilderness Lodge, definitely. Better in terms of transportation, theming and "Disneyness!" Although - don't get me wrong - we did really like Caribbean Beach.

We stayed at WL last year and at CBR this year, for our next trip we are going back to WL. We liked CBR just fine, but we are used to a Queen size bed and my DDs like the bunk beds at WL. I also like that everything is in one building. So, while the change was nice, we'll be at WL again.

i agree - if cost is not an option - wl is a great resort - we've been to almost all - and we always go back to wl - it's special - relaxing - so different because it's off the beaten path - but so close to mk - and you'll get to see the water parade -

I agree, try something new...then post a trip report because I haven't tried it either If money isn't an issue, go for it!

WL 100%. We just returned from there and loved it so much we rebooked for Sept. We to have stayed at the Poly in the past but don't want to spend quite that much, having stayed at CBR once before, I would recommend WL. Not that there's anything wrong with CBR, we just really enjoyed WL.

The Wilderness Lodge. I have not stayed at either, but have done a lot of research. Wonderful things are always said about the Wilderness Lodge. That is what I would pick, hands down.
