Caribbean Beach or Ft. Wilderness Cabins?

Sister trip in July and debating a switch from Caribbean Beach to Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Plan is to go to the Parks in the morning and night and then relax pool-side or explore the hotel/other hotels during mid-day when it's super hot.

I already reserved a golf cart in case we make the switch, so we would have that option at Ft. Wilderness.

Both resorts would be new to us (however we have stayed at all other moderates and Wilderness Lodge twice, if that means anything).

I would stay away from Caribbean Beach right now with all the construction going. If you don't mind paying for the cabins, then you won't be disappointed! Plus, Fort Wilderness has a lot of shade, making those hot July days a little easier to bear.

I love the cabins! Totally different experience from the regular resorts although if it was my sister and I staying in one, there would be a fight over who gets the queen bed lol.

Yes the Living Room had a Murphy bed. After the recent refurb the Murphy bed was roomed. There is now a Queen sleep sofa in the living room instead. There is a large flat screen TV where the bed was

Thanks everyone! I just switched us over to the Cabins. Can't wait to ride around in the golf cart and have a different Disney lodging experience! Now to start planning how to decorate our golf cart
