Hi all,

We have decided to go to Disney World in March for our honeymoon. I've been to Disney World a lot! Not a newbie. We've stayed at POR and Coronado Springs.

We are going to do a cruise first for about 5 days, then spend 5-6 days at Disney World.

Which resort would you recommend?

Caribbean Beach or French Quarters?

POFQ is my favorite moderate and CBR is my least favorite. So I'd recommend you book POFQ.

We love CBR- think it is the most beautiful and serene of all of the mods. But you'll want to pay for a King bed room - otherwise you'll end up with 2 double beds.

Not sure if this will be much help to you but I've just been picking a mod for my family and we are going to stay at CBR because it looks great for a family. When I was looking at FQ I thought it would be the place I would pick if it was just DH and I. I just got the feeling it would be more romantic then CBR but as I haven't stayed at either it's only going on pictures and what I've read about it. March tends to be really busy at DW so I expect no matter where you stay there is going to be lots of families around with kids.

POFQ hands down for your particular trip. No comparison.

Access to the water taxi for DTD; carriage rides; surrey bikes; smaller, more compact resort and don't have to wait for multiple stops to get back to your room. A lot of nice shade walking to and from your resort room.

Eliot entertaining in the lounge in the evenings.

Going over to DTD to Raglad Road or Paradiso 37.

Cannot beat it.

Agree with the above poster. My sister and her new hubby loved POFQ. The small size is easy to get around, boat to DTD and queen size beds (CBR double beds are a deal breaker for me).
