I agree with Momof2Disneyboys -- the Food Court at CBR in Old Port Royale is great - we love it. I love getting the food and then eating at one of the tables just outside Old Port Royale and feeling the breeze, watching out over the marina.... can't wait to do that in just 6 more days!!

OPR is DS13's favorite place in all of WDW!!

My family and I (me, DH, twin DDs4) arrived home last night from an 8 night stay at CBR. It was our first time staying at the resort and we loved it! Its our favorite resort now (also stayed at BC and POFQ). Our girls loved the pirate ship water play area and we all loved Old Port Royale. We had great bus service and great service from the resort. All in all a wonderful vacation and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again!!

Does anyone have a trip report that I can read while I am waiting for the days to pass? I tried searching, but it so hard weeding through all the reports, so many just seem to mention it or drive by it.

We stayed at the CBR two days prior to our cruise, cruised on the Disney Dream, then went back to the CBR for six nights. I'll have tons of CBR pictures in the report. But I guess the better question I need to research is....and I know I've read the answer someplace...can we use a TS as a QS?

Yes, you can! Just go to the front desk and ask them to convert your credits. We did it once during our stay. Actually, we had QS credits converted to snacks on our last day so we could bring home snacks from DTD

do you even have to "convert them"? We had a TS credit left that we weren't going to use so when we got our QS meal at the food court we just told the cashier to use the TS credit and she did......

I got it all squared away to use a TS for a breakfast in Epcot (Akershus) since Epcot is a great "nit-pick" kinda place on food, I thought for our lunch we will just pay for it and then have our garden grill TS dinner. Thank you for letting me know though.

Here is one more question.....What type of "snack credit" goodies can be purchased at CBR that would travel well on a plane ride home? Just wondering, incase our last day we have a few extra credits and are already back at the hotel when we realize it. Thanks!!

There are all sorts of snacks that you can use your snack credit on at the CBR. I know there were packages of nuts, cookies, gummies, lollipops, chips, crispie treats, fruit bars, etc. when we were there just over a week ago.
