My nephew did not want to miss out on the family vacation but he does need to connect his laptop to the internet.....
Can he access Wi Fi or something in our CBR room ????

I'm no expert, just someone who's done waaaaaay too much CBR research for our upcoming trip, so my info may be off....BUT your nephew will be fine! There is internet access in your CBR room. Not wi fi though

You just plug the wire (I think they keep it in a bag in your closet, near the bathroom sinks), into the jack located near the nightstand and you are all set. BE WARNED, Disney charges about $10.00 per day, but I believe the charge means you can access the internet as many times as you'd like within those 24 hours. You are prompted to pay when you attempt to log in, I believe you either need a credit card or you can charge it to the room.

Again, I may not have all the info correct. But your nephew will have internet access! Have a great trip!!!!

He is 15 yrs old, and attends a high school for smart kids, or as he likes to call it "Nerd School"....But they get a ton of homework, he wants to get up earlier then the rest of us (10 in our group) and get some schoolwork done so he doesn't get to far behind, so it will be worth the cost so he can be at WDW with all of us

I am getting so excited, it's our 1st time staying at CBR, hope we made a good choice

I am sure this question has been asked before, but do guests have access to a fax machine at CBR? A CM told us we could ask the front desk for faxing. Does anyone have experience with this and if so, is there a fee? Thank you!

We have had extensive experience with this much to our dismay. Our van broke down at the florida Welcome Station. We had to be towed to our Resort, CBR. Because of that we had to find someplace to repair our car and receive quotes and sign for authorization of work, back and forth, back and forth. We were able to fax at the front desk ,and while we were at the parks if a fax came in it was delivered right to our room. They were soo amazing to us, we were not charged and they were also efficient. No fax ever waited long lengths of time to be delivered.

Yes $10 for 24 hours. So if he gets up every other day to do 2 days worth of work it won't be so bad. If you have a CC on file for room charges it's just charged to your room. We had a TON of problems w/ it when we used it a few years ago. We paid the fee and it kept telling us we couldn't get on. We called for help a couple of times but after so many calls to tech support we just let it go. Now if anyone in you party has a phone w/ a HOTSPOT he could just use that. That's what we do now.

1) How late does room service run.

2) Is there a mini bar in your room that would have coke, juice and snacks?

We plan on having a resort day. Does CBR bar at the pool let you keep a tab? Were not planning on going crazy or anything but I figure maybe a couple of drinks each and then the kids like to get there own virgin versions.

We love CBR... If you have the time - read our July 2011 Trip report. Hope it will help you. My 3G card did not work very well in OUR room but when I went outside and sat on the bench, it worked well.

2) Is there a mini bar in your room that would have coke, juice and snacks?

Moderate resorts have a bar size refrigerator in the rooms but they are not stocked.

Sorry. You're best bet is to probably grab something quick at the airport before you board DME.

There are no mini-bars in the room. There are drink machines in various location, but I don't recall seeing snack machines. Like another poster said, grab something at the airport would be your best bet.

Thanks that is good to know. We usually just bring cash but if we will be spending 1/2 the day in the pool. I don't really want to bring more than 20.00 in cash with me. I know last time Dh got a beer and I got a drink and with tip I think it was around 20.00.

Have you considered placing an order from Garden Grocer? It will get delivered before you arrive, and then bell services will bring it to your room once you check in.

Yeah I got Mickey mail today. Well just new Me tags for CBR. I also called and put a request of Jamica 45 but really anything in Jamicia would be fine. I just like the color yellow. LOL

Your Very Welcome!!! This will be our first stay @ CBR. When we had the interent problems we were @ POP. I know lots of people use it so I'm sure you would be fine. But if your like me and your phone has the Hotspot on it for $20/month you can power up to 3 computers at once. I don't keep mine connected unless we're going somewhere.

Looks like we're checking in around the same time too!!! Hope your trips

Hi everyone! We are leaving for our first stay at CBR tomorrow and this thread has been very helpful.

Has anyone noticed if they have a small corkscrew in the gift shop? I forgot my small one in the camper and really don't have the time to go back to get it. I really didn't want to take my big one so I was hoping to be able to purchase one when we arrived.
