We will be checking in 10-14 for 8 nights so all of this informationa dnall of the pictures are both helpful and exciting.

Question for anyone who has rented a pontoon boat. Is the lake large enough to cruise around and enjoy the view for half an hour to an hour? I thought it would be a relaxing way to get some nice photos. Any thoughts on the boat rentals would be appreciated.

Definitely. My son and I ripped around on one of the 2 seat Searaycers, it was a blast. We would definitely do that again next time we stay at CBR.

RHMH here - Does anyone know if CBR has the tye dye cheesecake? If not I will have to go to Pop Century every other day to satisfy my DD 11 cheesecake craving. We got a compliementary up-grade from Pop Century last night.

Arriving July 9th and departing July 16th.

DD 11 - Me 53 -- My birthday is on the 16th of July. The up-grade was a nice Birthday Gift from Disney Destinations.

Sorry, I can't help you with the cheesecake, it's our first time staying there as well. I just couldn't help but comment because we will be there July 9th and departing July 15th, and my son's birthday is also on July 16th. We'll be in Myrtle Beach for his birthday.

So anyway, Happy Birthday!

Congratulations on the upgrade.:cool1: Just like bignets are exclusive to POFQ, the tie dye cheese cake is exclusive to POP, so afraid you'll have to go over there to get it.

Just switched from CSR to split stay at CBR and WL for our October trip. We have stayed at CBR twice before but this trip we have a pirate room booked. Not my preference, but all that was available on the military discount. Are the beds ok? I have read some that said they were not very comfortable? And are all pirate rooms still in the far away buildings? We will want to be fairly close to the main pool. I know that the very closest rooms are preferred, but again, couldn't get that with the discount code we have. I wonder if we can be switched at check in if there are some available. We were in Jamaica last time and that was not a bad walk to the main pool and food court. Any advice and or answers would be greatly appreciated!:flower3:

The Pirate Rooms are all in Trinidad South, the farthest away from everything.

We have the military discount too, all that was available was a Pirate Room or a king bed. We chose the king.

Trinidad south is pretty far BUT it has a nice quite pool over looking the water. It has its own bus stop and when we wanted to go to OPR we used our car instead of waiting for the internal bus.

I didnt notice that the beds were uncomfortable at all.. No I wont book a pirate room again but Im glad we experienced it..

The pirate rooms are in Trinidad South, the furthest village from OPR. But still it only took us about 7 minutes when we walked from there. Not bad. We haven't stayed in a pirate room, so I can't comment on the beds.

You could ask when you check in and see if anything else is available. But if not, you will be fine! TS is very beautiful and peaceful and has a great pool. And like I said - it's not that long of a walk to OPR. If you prefer you can take the internal shuttle.

Have a great trip. :goodvibes

Does anyone know how much whole bananas and apples are at the grab and go? What about a 1/2 gallon of milk?

I'm trying to decide whether to place an order with Garden Grocer or make due with some breakfast and snack items we bring from home filled in with grab and go food.

We're on the dining plan but the kids will need extra stuff like the milk and fruit. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this. Does CBR have any rooms with queen size beds? My cousin said she has been told there are. I didn't think CBR had any rooms with queen beds. It would be nice if they did though.

i just asked some questions ove rint he picture thread... should those be asked here instead?? sorry im pretty new to this site and just trying to figure it all out...

Either place is fine. I'll go check the picture thread and see if I can help.

i'm ready to leave hot, wet Louisiana today for those sandy beaches, but i have to wait till November.

I just added 3 days here before we switch to the VWL. I can't wait to see your pictures!

We're coming from hot and dry Louisiana in 21 days! New Orleans, to be exact :)
