My DH and I (no kids this time

) will be staying at CBR for the first time - one week from today!! I've read through the thread, but if anyone has any tips, I'll take them! Things like best food in food court, best bus stop, best place to see little critters, etc.
I want to know, too ...
Let's see if I can offer some info.
Let's see, my husband has to order the Reuben sandwich at least once every trip and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I like the fresh tossed chicken ceasar salad (big enough for two) and the turkey BLT sandwich. The grab n go section has some really yummy fresh baked muffins and cookies. I know one of you said it'll be just you and your hubby but for the others who may have children, order the kids' chicken nugget meal. It comes in a sandpail that they get to keep.
We like to spend at least one "down" day at the resort to simply laze around the resort. We've spent time simply sitting on the beach chairs or swinging in the hammocks. During a couple of our stays, we rented surrey bikes and watercraft from the marina. It's a neat way to see the rest of the resort and I highly recommend doing either one or both. Oh, and also at the marina, there's a pool table. A few times, we had the quiet pool all to ourselves. At other times, there were just a few other people there.
The island is a nice quiet place too. There are picnic tables, a few hammocks and benches on the island. You could order a drink from the pool bar and take it to the island or sit and people watch while sitting at one of the umbrella tables outside Old Port Royale.
As far as which bus stop is the best, that's a hard one. It all depends on where you are headed for the day. Sometimes, Jamaica is the first to pick up and the first to let off. At other times, Martinique is the first to pick up and the first to let off. We've stayed at the CBR four times and have never had any issues with the buses. We have had to stand before but most times we were able to sit. Even if you do have to stand, you won't be standing for very long because the resort is centrally located and it doesn't take long to reach any park or DTD.
When we stayed in Martinique 26, the Old Port Royale bus stop was actually closer to our building than the Martinique bus stop. So, we used the OPR bus stop for our entire trip.
I have lots of pictures of the CBR in my trip report including pictures I took while we were riding a surrey bike. Just click on the "Stop Making Me Laugh..." link below if you want to take a look around.
Hope this helps you guys out!
